Give a Gift, Change a Life! Orphanage in Kenya

Hello friends, my name is Sharka,
I live in California, USA.
I was inspired to create this fundraiser for St.Ignatius Orthodox Academy &
Child Rescue Mission Center, an initiative of Fr Samuel Macharia,
the Parish Priest of St.Stephen Orthodox Church.
Due to the lack of GoFundMe service in Kenya, I am setting up this page
to support Fr. Samuel's outstanding charitable work.
The Orthodox mission serves about 50 children (as of now).
Most of the beneficiaries are orphans, street children and those dwelling in slums and stricken by extreme poverty.
The primary focus was and still is basic needs and education.
Your donations will provide food, clothes, shelter, and schooling, including uniforms.
Also, will be paying for staff, teachers and cooks, electricity, water and medical
bills, things we sometimes take for granted here in this country.
We aim to raise 36,000, covering ONE YEAR to run our Rescue Mission successfully (plus transaction fees).
To sponsor one child costs $40 per month.
100% is sent directly to Fr. Samuel in Kenya.
