Hallo, mijn naam is Mohammed. Ik ben 33 jaar en woon in Nederland, maar ik ben geboren en opgegroeid in Gaza.

Mijn twee zussen wonen daar nog steeds, ieder met twee jonge kinderen. Hun situatie is hartverscheurend.

Eén van mijn zussen leeft met haar kinderen in een tent, zonder toegang tot schoon water, voedsel of enige vorm van veiligheid. Mijn andere zus probeert, zoals je op de foto kunt zien, samen met haar gezin te overleven in hun gebombardeerde en verwoeste huis. Beide gezinnen leven onder onmenselijke omstandigheden, zonder uitzicht op een normaal en waardig bestaan.

Het breekt mijn hart dat ik zo weinig kan doen om hen te beschermen. Het enige wat ik kan doen, is proberen geld in te zamelen om hen in deze zware tijd wat verlichting te bieden.

Hello, my name is Mohammed. I'm 33 years old and live in the Netherlands, but I was born and raised in Gaza. My two sisters still live there, each with two young children. Their situation is heartbreaking. One of my sisters lives in a tent with her children, without access to clean water, food, or any form of safety. My other sister, as you can see in the photo, is trying to survive with her family in their bombed and destroyed home. Both families live in inhumane conditions, with no prospect of a normal and dignified existence. It breaks my heart that I can do so little to protect them. The only thing I can do is try to raise money to offer them some relief during this difficult time.
