My Volunteer Trip

For years I have been searching for a way to further my passion of working with children, and now I have my chance! I have been accepted into a program that will take me to Africa, in March, to work side by side with local child care and educational facilities. Not only will this program be an incredible cultural experience, but it will also allow me to gain real world training, and better the lives of so many children in need. Through this program I will join a team that is dedicated to promoting better health, education and development outcomes for young people in various communities. Whether I am the one who helps them learn addition and subtraction, or simply an ear for them to bend when they need advice, I feel honored and blessed to be put in a position to impact lives and make change.
I I truly believe God has brought this amazing opportunity to me, and I want nothing more than to follow His direction. I would greatly appreciate your prayers and well wishes as I attempt to follow my passion, and if you feel compelled to support me financially I would be beyond grateful.
