#FixTheCountry Protest Solidarity Fund
This is a solidarity fund in support of the non-partisan #FixTheCountry movement in Ghana. Funds raised will be used in procuring placards, water, printing tee shirts, face and nose mask for participants of the planned protest which was scheduled for May 9 in Accra, Ghana (later date TBA) and subsequent protests across the country.
Transparency and accountability shall be the key in reporting every fund received. #FixTheCountry and #FixTheCountryNow!

Even though the Ghana Police Service says it cannot shepherd the planned demonstration organised by the #FixTheCountry movement on May 9, we plan on protesting peacefully to express our displeasure at the government's inability to fulfil their campaign promises and fix the country.
According to them, the assembly goes against the ban on public gatherings currently in place as part of measures to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus but we believe there are other ways can still protest and demonstrate while observing the COVD-19 social distancing guidelines.

Beneath this #FixTheCountry movement, are people who are really hungry for a country that works. Systems, structures and offices that really work for the people, for all Ghanaians, and not for a few. It’s not about one political party or the other, it’s about the Ghanaian people.
