Scooter Pie appears to be a happy healthy young 5 year old boy. He was rescued from the shelter by Friends of Milo Foundation in order to find his forever home. On exam he had a significant murmur. We took him to our cardiologist and it was determined he was born with a condition called pulmonic stenosis. This condition damages his heart over time and may push him into early heart failure. He needs a ballooning procedure to open the pulmonic valve. Once this is done he can go on to lead a normal life. It is a costly procedure done by cardiology specialists and we need to raise $4000 to help Scooter Pie!! We feel that Scooter Pie deserves every chance to live out his life with a loving family and we want to give him that!
