Hi Charlestown Dog Community!

Will you be taking your favorite furry friend for a stroll to the fire station this weekend?

As we kick off the active outdoor season with Earth Day on Saturday, let's see if we can help our favorite fire station 50 stock up (treats) for the summer!

Does your dog look forward to their trip to the fire station for a treat and a feature pic on their IG? Does it warm your pawrent heart when you see them gleefully strut to the best fire hydrant in town?

Our favorite first responders do an amazing job of keeping our community safe and our pups happy throughout the year! Summer season is their busiest treat time and most expensive. While we all toss a few bucks in the hydrant, they happily supplement our town treat habit out-of-their own pockets. At $20 a box for milk bones, which on busy outdoor weekends (Earth Day, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Bunker Hill Day, 4th of July and any day over 60 degrees) they can easily go through 2+ boxes a day. If we add that up over the summer months (May-Aug) it equals over $2K.

Donations will be accepted 4/21 - 4/25. Our community contribution will be issued to the firehouse on 4/26, just in time for them to stock up for May Day!
