On June 10, 2025, Pat Fitzpatrick (Fitzy) suffered a severe traumatic brain injury while working for the City of Chicago with Local 150. The injury has led Pat to being hospitalized for over a month and having numerous brain surgeries. Pat's wife, Steph, has been by his side since the injury occurred. Pat and Steph have 4 amazing children.

Pat will miss a lot of work and may never be able to fully work again due to the injury.
