Fitchburg Firefighters Monument Restoration

The Fitchburg Firefighters Relief Association will be remodeling thier Firefighters Monument in Fitchburg's Upper Common. The major addition will be two granite monuments that will include the names of all deceased firefighters, 256 names to date and there will be space to include future pasted firefighters. In addition new walkways, lighting and shrubbery will be added.

This is an expensive project, but when completed it will be a fitting memorial to the firefighters that have protected the city for over the past 150 years.
