Fit 4 February Challenge

Do you want to join us in making a difference this February? Our school is raising money in aid of Worcestershire Young Carers and every donation - however small - will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause. It means so much to us and will make a real difference to the lives of young people who selflessly care for loved ones who are perhaps ill or compromised in their parenting role.

Do you want to get fit whilst raising money for this valuable cause? You can join us throughout February to complete a mile a day (walking or running). Our Headteacher is going to run a distance of 30 miles between Birmingham and Worcester along the canal on February 17th. All are welcome to cheer him along the route or meet him at the finish line (Diglis Basin, Worcester). All donations on the day are gratefully received. But we are not stopping there! All members of our school will be walking/running a mile a day throughout February in support of our Headteacher and this worthy cause. About YSS Ltd. (Worcestershire Young Carers): Worcestershire Young Carers is commissioned by Worcestershire County Council to provide assessment, signposting, one-to-one support and monthly youth clubs for young people with a caring role at home, aged between seven and 17, who live in Worcestershire. They also support young adult carers aged between 18 and 25. The caring role could be for a parent, a sibling or a grandparent due to illness, disability, physical or mental health difficulties or substance misuse. They also deliver a wide range of trips and activities during school holidays to ensure young carers enjoy a break from their caring responsibilities and provide opportunities they would not otherwise have access to.
