I am Mauricio Roa, Colombian AOL teacher in charge of coordinating the foundation for Cuba. I have a great story for you and I hope you can help us complete it!

At the beginning of this year we fundraised to bring Sahaj Samadhi and Silence Program to Cuba for the first time. I did the fundraising with the hope that we could empower volunteers to become teachers/instructors in 2019. I never thought that we would reach this goal so soon, and now, to my surprise in mid 2018, its happening!

During the visit of Swami Paramtej to Cuba, we noticed that many of the volunteers had become so strong that Swamiji inspired me to choose one to send him/her to TTC in Argentina in June. Quoting him, "waiting until next year would be such a loss of time." After some days of being there it was so clear that our dear Katia Peon was the one most ready for it. Her commitment and availability outstanded her as she helped and served for the grace to flow in Cuba.

Katia is a wonderful mother and very hardworking person. She has taken courses in AOL since 2015, soon after she met Guruji in a public talk he gave in Universidad de La Habana . Since my first visit in 2017 she talked to me and told me her life had completely changed and that she was sure she would one day be a teacher in her country that needs this knowledge so much. Now after doing two times the Silence Programs, receiving Sahaj and doing a lot of Seva, we think she is ready for the next step. Now we need you to make this happen!


As you may know, Cuban money is worth much less than USD. That's why paying a ticket and a regular TTC price for Katia would be 10 or more times the price that others have to pay. For this reason we are helping her to cover the 90% of her TTC with the help of you and your friends!

The donation will be managed from AOL Cuba (will not go directly to her) and will cover:


- Airplane ticket to Argentina -  US1000
- TTC Fee in Argentina - US1800
- Visas and other expenses - US400
