Help build a Masjid in Marbella, Spain

Assalamu Alaikum,

We are gathering funds to purchase, renovate, and create our masjid and community center. We've been here for almost 15 years, and many of our Muslim neighbors have been here for over 25. Alhamdulillah, the Muslim population in Nueva Andalucia, Marbella, has been slowly rising, with current families expanding and new families and professionals moving in. We are currently using a local rental room to do the prayers, which can only hold up to 120 people, which is insufficient given that our neighborhood has over 200 individuals and over 70 people pray on the streets. It has also been extremely difficult for our young children to obtain any Islamic education.

As more Muslims migrate into other regions of town, they become increasingly alienated and alone, and in many cases, they are ignorant of fellow Muslim residents because there is no Muslim community hub here. With Allah's aid, we discovered a property that could be converted into an Islamic community centre and a masjid for over 1000 people. The folks and especially the youngsters in our community are incredibly pleased that we may finally be able to have our own masjid to pray together and study together! Legal work is already starting since people want to get this up and running as soon as possible, but we need your support and generous donations to make this a reality by first establishing a prayer place and then providing amenities to suit the requirements of the community. We intend to gather everyone for prayer and congregation, as well as to provide a safe location for individuals to meet. A place where our children may develop and study together in an Islamic setting! A special place for our lovely Muslim females to worship and learn about Islam.

This is an excellent Sadaqah Jariyah opportunity to leave a legacy for the town's Muslim citizens!

Abu Hurayrah (Ra) reported that the Messenger of Allah ( Pbuh) said; ‘When a man dies, all his deeds come to an end except 3: Ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous child who will pray for him’. Muslim (1631).

May Allah SWT accept this from all of us as Sadaqah Jariyah, Ameen.
