Hi, I'm Laura and pictured here with me is my little brother Bryan.

Two nights ago, he was awakened by firefighters kicking in his door and ripping him from his bed, heroically saving his life as the fire upstairs collapsed the ceiling onto his bedroom below. He escaped with only some smoke inhalation, thank God! But his home is ruined.

We are getting the runaround from insurance and in the meantime, we are paying for him to stay at a hotel and he has no belongings. I am trying to get him an emergency fund for clothing, toiletries, and hotel stay and some basics to get set up again as he has to start over. Thank you.
