Firefighter Bunker Gear Dryer Eagle Scout Project
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kaylee Meadows, and I am a Life Scout from Scout Troop 555 of West Linn, Oregon. I started Boy Scouts in 9th grade and I am currently in 11th grade. I am working toward the rank of Eagle Scout. I started my scout journey during the Pandemic with Troop 555 in West Linn, Oregon and I live in Townsend, MA but I was remote during the beginning of the pandemic and spent the last 2 summers out in West Linn Oregon camping, hiking, attending summer camp and working on my trail to Eagle Scout.
During my scouting journey, I have volunteered and helped out the communities in West Linn, Oregon and Townsend, MA. I have completed 19 merit badges and working on a couple more for my path to the Rank of Eagle Scout. The last step to obtaining Eagle Scout is my Eagle Project. I have planned out how I will execute the process and am prepared to execute my plan. In order to complete my project, I need to raise funds.
For my Eagle Scout project I have chosen to make a Firefighter Gear Dryer for the Townsend Fire Department in Townsend, MA. The dryer will ensure the firefighter gear gets dried quickly after it has been cleaned to get rid of contaminants after firefighting task. This will make sure the firefighters have clean, dry and safe gear to respond to emergency calls from the residents of Townsend and surrounding communities. I will need approximately $2000.00 to be able to purchase the needed materials. Thank you for your donations. BECAUSE I'M NOT 18, I NEED TO LIST MY MOM AS THE ORGANIZER PER GOFUNDME POLICIES
