On Tuesday night, November 2, 2021, a tragic fire broke out in our school's neighborhood, and a quadplex was destroyed, and a neighbor lost their life. One of the units was home to our very own CVCS teacher and friend, Kylie Campion. Kylie's husband, Alex, held off the fire with a garden hose while Kylie had 3-minutes to frantically grab what items she could. Thankfully, their lives were spared, but 90 percent of their personal belongings and household items were lost in the fire. Considering our school theme, Love Thy Neighbor, we would love to join as a community and support this dedicated teacher and her husband, rebuilding and replenishing needed items to get their lives back to "normal." Any financial donation, small or large, would be greatly appreciated by Alex and Kylie (Mrs. Campion).
