Hi everyone, this is Dave and my partner Sarah. As some of you already know, our family is dealing with an unimaginable tragedy. On January 15, 2026, my sister, Aleshea, lost almost everything she owned in a devastating house fire and sustained very serious injuries while escaping. Aleshea was injured while going back for her beloved pets, and anyone who knows her knows this is just one example of the kind and loving person she is. While we are immensely grateful she survived, she will be soon facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding her life from scratch and healing going forward.

We are raising funds to help Aleshea secure safe housing and replace essential items when she is ready to leave the hospital and continue her healing without the financial stress and burden of navigating this tragic accident.

We have set our target for $10,000 to cover the cost, with the breakdown below. Your donations will directly cover:

Housing: Damage deposit and first month's rent for a new place to live. $4,000

Essentials: Immediate clothing, toiletries, and necessities.$2000

Recovery: Replacing household items lost in the fire. $4,000
