Doris, Denise, and Olena have been dedicated massage therapists in downtown Hilo for over 20 years, providing care and healing to countless members of the community. In the early hours of the morning, a devastating fire broke out in a neighboring building and quickly spread, consuming four buildings that housed both businesses and residents. Thankfully, no one was injured, but all three therapists lost everything related to their massage therapy practice in the blaze.

The loss of their office, equipment, and supplies has been overwhelming, especially as this happened right before the busy holiday season—a time when Doris, Denise, and Olena would normally be helping many clients and supporting themselves through their work. Now, they face the daunting task of finding a new space, replacing all of their equipment and consumables, and rebuilding their business from the ground up. The sudden loss of income during this critical time adds even more stress to an already difficult situation.
