Hello, I'm Vanessa Morales. I'm the oldest daughter in our family. My family experienced a total loss of their home due to a fire. This morning, my brave little sister, Valerie, woke up to the sight of smoke beginning to fill our home. She alerted everyone to escape and freed her dog to safety. Luckily, nobody was hurt, but their home is unlivable. Just a day after Thanksgiving and giving thanks for all the blessings in our life, tragedy hit. My family has nothing—no clothes, no food, and no relatives in the city. Now they're faced with making a plan to move forward. Any donation will help or even just support in this difficult time.
