Fire Destroys Family Home While Away at Football

Hi, my name is Peggy and I am fundraising for a family that needs your support. On July 4, 2022, the Woods family was away at a Football tournament with Sound Mind Sound Body in Chicago and they received a call about their house being on fire. The family rushed home to see how bad the situation was. When they arrived, their house was destroyed! They thought everything would be fine since they were insured except for losing some precious items that are not replaceable. They had no idea that they would have trouble with the local police department filing reports or having issues with inexperienced adjusters and having their claim denied. Unbeknownst to them, they would even have to hire an attorney to sue the insurance company.

Through this process, the family is still responsible for paying their mortgage, insurance, monthly bills and expenses for the house that burnt down as well as paying for somewhere else to stay.

The money raised will be used for housing expenses, food, clothing, toiletries attorney fees and legal expenses. Please help this family get their house back and repaired. Their 2

boys need a sense of normalcy that they have not had in a long time.
