Supporting North London Families
Family Futures has been supporting North London families since 1998. We provide vital therapeutic support to the most vulnerable children in our society, helping them heal from early childhood trauma. In June 2021, we moved into our "forever home" at 440a Hornsey Road, just a short walk from the iconic Finsbury Park.
This June, we are asking our supporters to take to the paths of Finsbury Park for their annual community runs. For us, this isn't just a race; it’s a celebration of the community that has seen us survive the pandemic and navigate significant funding cuts. It’s a way to show that we are here to stay, supporting the families who need us most.
Why Your Support is a Life-Saver
As an Ofsted Outstanding provider, we know that healing from trauma takes time, patience, and resources. But as funding disappears, the barriers for our families grow.
Your support goes directly to the Family Futures Crisis Fund, which handles the "small" things that make healing possible:
- Emergency home visits for when a family reaches a breaking point.
- Therapeutic tools, like art supplies, that help a child express what they cannot say in words.
- A train fare so a struggling family can make it to a vital therapy session.
"For our family, it has been a life-saver... There is no other way to explain it."
