My name is Emanuel Craig, founder of FINO (Failure Is No Option) Filmz, and I’m teaming up with Kristina Harmon Turner, the North Carolina Central University community, NCCU's Greek lettered organizations, supporters from Durham and my hometown Charlotte to launch the "Fuel The Ridge" Back-To-School Drive.

This initiative is dedicated to supporting Sandy Ridge Elementary School in Durham, NC, which recently transitioned from a magnet school to a community school—causing a significant increase in student enrollment and, with it, a greater need for resources. Many students at Sandy Ridge face housing insecurity and rely on the school’s “Backpack Program”, which provides non-perishable food items for weekends and school breaks to ensure no child goes hungry.

We are collecting non-perishable food and school supplies to meet immediate needs and help the school go beyond expectations. With the power of my network and the unwavering support of the community, we aim to deliver not just supplies—but hope, dignity, and the message that these kids are seen, supported, and never forgotten.

At FINO, our motto is “Failure Is No Option,” and that especially applies when it comes to serving the next generation. Let’s fuel their success together!
