Finley’s Marathon

In March this year, our best friend’s whole life was shattered apart when they tragically lost their baby boy, Finley in a road traffic collision. Together with their families and friends, they now bravely face each day with broken hearts.

As a best friend, there has been very little we could do as they live through this heartbreak. (Those who know Sarah well will know home cooked food was not an option)

Parents, siblings, grandparents, family members and friends should not have to visit a cemetery for a life so young, but when they do, there should be somewhere to sit and reflect. At Finley’s resting place, there are no benches. So we are going to run a marathon to raise enough money for a bench!

Chloe and Danny would like this to be a memorial bench for all the families of babies and children who share their resting place with Finley.

For a bench that will last their lifetime, the cost is just over £1,000.

Every step of our marathon will be in Finley’s name in the hope we can raise enough to provide somewhere to reflect and spend some time in a place they shouldn’t have to be.

We are so grateful for any support you can offer. Any additional money raised will go straight to the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.
