Hello my name is Craig I am looking to find my little brother. He was adopted at birth. I thought I was an only child until I was about 10 then one day I was rummaging in a small suitcase my mum had and I found a baby picture and a birth certificate my mum told me he was my little brother and that he had been adopted but wouldn’t tell me anything else about him or what happened, when I was 12 I was put into care as the powers that be decided that my mum couldn’t look after me she died when I was 13 so I can’t ask her for information. At that time, I put the only picture of my brother in her coffin and social work said they would put a note in his file but later found out they didn’t. Our dad left when I was two, I have spoken to him once on the phone when I was 18 for around 60 seconds and again via Facebook about 4 years ago, he said he didn’t know my mum was pregnant with my brother and didn’t know anything my brother would have been born around 6 months BEFORE he left! Turns out he had two other children (that we know about) So up to the age of 9 I was an only child then I find out I have a brother then I find out I have a half-sister then another half-sister. I have spoken to both sisters via Facebook but it’s my brother I want to find and know he is ok. The social work department that dealt with the adoption don't enter into non disclosure. I’ve tried Facebook searches registered with the A.C.R but had no luck. Any help would be excellent even just to know he is ok and happy. I’m looking to hire a specialist adoption intermediary company to try and track him down. I had to stop working a few years ago due to il health so my finances are not good and this is why I am asking for help via go fund me. I just want to know if he’s alive and well.
