Hi, my name is Toni I set up this fundraising page to help my family with the costs of finding Martyn Richardson, who went missing after leaving a family party in Bocking, near Braintree in Essex on Saturday 24th August 2024.

After 12 weeks of searching and raising awareness of Martyn’s story a search organised and conducted by our local community found Martyn’s body in a waterway close to where his bike had been found many weeks earlier.

Some of the funds raised were used as originally intended, towards the printing costs of posters, banners, boards and flyers.

Our intention always was for funds raised to be used only for the costs incurred in the ongoing search for Martyn and in the event Martyn was found we planned to disburse remaining funds to charitable causes close to Martyn's heart, however since Martyn was found on Saturday 16th November the community who were so active in helping us Find Martyn have expressed their wish to continue fundraising to support Martyn’s loved ones with the costs associated with giving Martyn the send off he deserves and towards a lasting memorial.
