Hey everyone, apologies for the quiet. I've returned to work and post covid it is far more draining that I expected. A constant sense of unreality pervades my waking awareness and I struggle to process the world.
No matter!
New apartment! 725 a month, should really be achievable with my income and with the generosity you have shown, I ought to have the funding to secure it.
Worst case, I have earned just enough from my paycheck to afford another week in my hotel.Please share this where you can, I still am desperate. I might be beaten but I won't go down without a fight, and it's because of you that I'm still standing at all.

That 875 a month studio apartment? I don't qualify for it with my income. I make 2500 a month, but they want 2600. I am expanding my search for housing to encompass literally every possible option at this point in time. I admit, between this repeated failure on my part and covid kicking my butt, I am starting to falter. I do not know what I am to do, but I will keep pushing forward.
If not for myself, then for all of you who have lent me your ear and your eye and your time and passion. For the aid you have already granted me, and for the hope of a brighter future we all share.

I am seeking a new apartment as the previous no longer appears to be the best option. The newest is a studio apartment nearby at an affordable housing complex! 875 a month, so the goal as it stands would allow for five to six months, accounting for the security deposit and utilities!
Whilst I am seeking another apartment, I used 400 of this fund to secure a week's continued stay at my extended stay hotel, as I currently do not have any couches to crash on and the weather has been awful. Your generosity has saved my bacon for AT LEAST one week!
Thank you for understanding and for your help! Together, we can get some kind of roof over my head!
COVID is also kicking my butt. Can't do anything really so I'm sleeping and chugging orange juice q.q hurts to breathe kinda sucks

My name is Keira Crews.
I have autism, ADHD, I am a trans woman undergoing HRT, and I will be 31 this year. I am homeless and my heart is failing.
Bad news is that I am in the early stages of congestive heart failure. I may live another four years, or longer with a transplant.
However, at this time, I am homeless and seeking shelter, and that takes priority over my medical needs; I have Medicaid, but I do not have a home. I am gainfully employed, and the townhome/apartment facility with the unit I am working for is directly across the street from my work.
The apartment costs 1145 a month, and with utilities it will be more, but I am aiming for three months of rent plus the deposit (two months + first month, so another three months). In total, I would like to collect $6,900 USD for the purposes of paying for my housing.
Any contribution is welcome! Even a dollar matters to me!
All funds will be used to secure the apartment and to pay for rent + utilities, until such time that the funding allows.
I have a workplace and my own income to buy my own things, and my insurance is so far covering my health. This apartment is the objective of this GoFundMe.
