Help for housing and aftercare for fathers stroke
Donation protected
My name is Matthew Covell from Garden Grove California. This go fund me is to help us raise funds to care for the needs of Ed Hambek who was a victim of a stroke on August 27th and will not be able to work again according to his doctors.
September is a difficult month for many. And for our families, it has been especially hard. In September 2013 my wife Sarah and her brother and sister lost their mother to cancer this will be ten years now but what makes this year especially difficult is that the house that my wife and I have rented for the past 7 years with our 1 year old son is going to be sold and we need to move. We make a modest living by cleaning houses and are finding it very difficult to find a place to call home because we have 2 golden retrievers and 2 cats.
Originally, I was going to make this go fund me to help cover our costs to get into a 2 bedroom as we are renting a 1 bedroom atm and need the space for our son. However, since then, my father in law has had a stoke and we find ourselves stretched too thin to help Ed with this unforeseen tragic event that makes it impossible for him to care for the needs of himself and his wife.
So now we reach out to you, the community, and friends and family, to see if you may be in a position to help lend a hand in this difficult time of unforseen occurrence. If possible, we would like to move into a place where we can be available to help take care of Ed. I lost my father when I was 7 years old and would like to do everything I can to help my wife and brother in law take care of their father.
Our families believe in the bibles promise that in the near future we will, as Isaiah 65:21,22 brings out, "They will build houses and live in them, And they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. 22 They will not build for someone else to inhabit, Nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full."
And also God's promise at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
In the meantime, we do our best with our circumstances and appreciate resources like this to help with unexpected needs.
Ecclesiastes 10:19 says, "Bread is made for laughter, and wine makes life enjoyable; but money answers every need."
So, if you are in a position to send anything our way, it will go a long way to help us answer every need that arises. All funds raised will be set aside in a separate Wells Fargo account to assist with moving and aftercare expenses for the Hambek and Covell families.
Thank you for your consideration. Please share this with your friends and family as many hands make the load light and cause an equalizing ☺️
