Lieve mensen,

Voor onze dierbare Melissa en Juan en hun gezin is het leven in korte tijd volledig veranderd.

Op 25 maart 2026 trouwde Melissa met de liefde van haar leven, Juan.

Een dag vol liefde, in een periode die alles behalve vanzelfsprekend is.

Juan is ernstig ziek en verblijft momenteel in het hospice.

Samen hebben zij twee jonge dochters, die voor hen alles betekenen.

Hun dagen staan nu in het teken van samenzijn.

Van kleine momenten, van liefde, en van bewust tijd maken voor elkaar.

Als vrienden en familie zien wij van dichtbij hoeveel kracht, liefde en toewijding er in dit gezin zit.

Maar ook hoe zwaar het is — emotioneel én praktisch.

Naast alles wat er speelt, is er ook financiële onzekerheid ontstaan.

Melissa zit in een overgang van zelfstandig werken naar loondienst, waardoor haar inkomen tijdelijk lager en minder stabiel is.

Daarom willen wij, als vriendinnen van Melissa & Juan, namens hen en hun gezin, om hulp vragen.

Met deze inzamelactie hopen we hen niet alleen door deze periode heen te helpen,

maar ook wat rust en draagkracht te bieden voor de tijd die voor hen ligt.

Zodat Melissa zich kan richten op wat nu het allerbelangrijkste is:

er zijn voor Juan en hun dochters.

Zonder constante zorgen over geld.

Het gaat niet om luxe, maar om rust.

Rust om samen te zijn.

Rust om er voor hun kinderen te zijn.

Rust om stap voor stap door deze periode heen te gaan.

Elke bijdrage, groot of klein, betekent ontzettend veel.

En ook het delen van deze actie helpt enorm.

For our dear Melissa and Juan and their family, life has changed completely in a short time.

On March 25, 2026, Melissa married the love of her life, Juan.

A day full of love, in a period that is anything but a given.

Juan is seriously ill and is currently staying in the hospice.

Together, they have two young daughters who mean everything to them.

Their days are now dedicated to being together.

To small moments, to love, and to consciously making time for each other.

As friends and family, we see up close how much strength, love, and dedication there is in this family.

But also how difficult it is — emotionally and practically.

In addition to everything else at play, financial uncertainty has also arisen.

Melissa is in a transition from self-employment to salaried employment, which means her income is temporarily lower and less stable.

That is why we, as friends of Melissa & Juan, would like to ask for help on behalf of them and their family. With this fundraising campaign, we hope not only to help them through this period,

but also to offer some peace and resilience for the time ahead.

So that Melissa can focus on what is most important right now:

being there for Juan and their daughters.

Without constant worries about money.

It is not about luxury, but about peace.

Peace to be together.

Peace to be there for their children.

Peace to get through this period step by step.
