Hello everyone, I am Shayna Witter, a close friend of Zach and his children, Nicholas and Cheyanne.
(For those of you who do not know me, I am the wife of his childhood and life long friend, Mike Witter, who is also Nich's godfather.)
Zach was a dedicated son, friend, but most of all, Father. Zach was fun, loving, joking, and all around a great person that loved to be a dad, play pool, and have a good time. Whether that was camping, boating, road trips or just hanging out with his family and friends.... he was always down. He never took things too seriously as he always made jokes and gave that big dimply smile after he said something offensive or funny (in a joking way of course! haha) , it is sad that the world had to lose such an amazing soul, such a kindhearted family man.
We love and miss you everyday, until we meet again, there will be a big hole in all of our hearts and our lives. As I cant fathom what the children are going through as a family, we would like to get all of the friends together that loved him and show that love to the children. Zach put his children before all else in his life and always was talking about their next big steps they were taking along the way. Leaving behind his best friend and "daddy's little girl" was never something any of us imagined would ever happen, especially Zach. It is with a heavy heart that he is no longer by their side, rooting them on as he always did, to see where they will go in life but we hope to ease the stress of navigating this new way of life for them. We found it important to continue to show the love and support to them even if you just share it!
These donations will go directly to the children's bank account ( that they do not have access to until they are 21) which some of you may have already donated to through his families memorial service that took place on May 2nd where they were able to raise a good amount for the children but we wanted to extend it to his other family (his friends) to be able to get the chance to donate to them as well. Thank you in advance, and I know the children are thankful, their dad was their world just as much they were his, for the out poor of love and support from each and every one of you.
