Hi my name is Sandra and I’m raising money for my family in Portugal after the destruction and devastation hurricane Kristen left behind in my family’s city Leiria Portugal and surrounding areas. My Mom and Dad have been affected by this horrible storm and also all of my family in the area have been affected. I am trying to help with financial rebuilding cost of people’s roofs and damage done inside the homes from all the rain that has gotten into the houses. It will be 1 week tomorrow Feb 4 and my parents still do not have electricity or running water in their home.My parents are proud people and would never ask for help from anyone and because I am so far away from them in Canada this is the only way I can see that I can help from this far right now. Please share this post with everyone you know if you are not able to donate sharing is enough to get the word out there. These photos do not even show a part of the damage done to my parents home or what the area looks like. Portugal has never experience this kind of devastation or weather so they were not prepared for the aftermath. This money will financially alleviate the burden on my parents, and anything more will go to help my family all affected by this horrible natural disaster. Thank you
