Recently our family was devastated and shocked with the news that our mom, the very fibre that holds us all together Mildred Lawrence was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has already spread to other vital organs, and has been deemed terminal.

Mildred has become too sick and weak to work. My step father Rodney O’Brien has gone on leave from work to be home to help her, and my sister Danielle O’Brien and I have been missing work more often to spend as much time with mom and help her out with whatever she needs.

To know Mildred is to love her, she always puts everyone else first no matter what. She has been so incredibly brave and inspiring despite her diagnosis, we are hoping to give her some relief from financial worries - so she can spend more time with what she loves most, which is her family and her dogs. Our beautiful mom has never been one to ask others for help, but we are hoping in our family’s time of need you will consider donating or even just give this a share for us!!
