I Love Lorelei Campaign

Hello! We are Angel and Rashid. We've been together for nearly 6 years now, and are now, embarking on a brand new journey together: parenthood. In the wake of COVID-19, protests where we live in Portland, Oregon, life has been stressful, and the thought of, "do we have enough money," has made it hard to be our usual cheerful selves; yet we try our best still. Angel, due to her pregnancy has not been able to work, and Rashid is currently working the best he can.  We live in a two bedroom apartment that is $1250 a month, plus utilities. We have a 1992 Chevy G20 van that needs repair. Our savings deplete a little every month, ane Angel is in no condition to pick up a job right now. We are asking for help to have some savings. Our babygirl Lorelei is due to meet us all September 27th, and she has been our biggest motivation to smile, and look ahead with our best foot forward. We want our girl to have the best life she possibly can, we want to establish the security to be here for her as much as possible, without the burden of choosing another shift over her health: mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually. We want to not just watch her grow, but be able to contribute to her dreams.  $4700 will help us establish a savings account that is hopefully going to be enough, along with the work Rashid is doing now, so we can securely keep our home, have safe transportation, and give our babygirl the life she deserves.  Thank you for your time, and generosity, love the Atallah family.
