Financial help for Tyler Burdine Wheeler

Hi my name is Annette and as many of you know, my son-in-law, Tyler Wheeler was hit by a motor vehicle on Saturday, November 12th. Tyler was walking on the correct side of the road with a flashlight (and his father-in-law). A vehicle came over to the wrong side of the road smashing into Tyler and throwing his body 35 feet into the woods.

Tyler was thrown so hard his shoes were approximately 40 feet away from his body. Tyler was taken to the Munson Traverse City hospitals trauma unit.

Tyler has 2 broken shoulder blades, over 20 different fractures to his ribs, a broken pelvis, a broken tibia, fibula and ankle. He also has a lacerated kidney.

The doctors need to support his ribs with metal supports, they need to do a second surgery on his leg/ankle as well. Unfortunately he has lost a lot of blood thru his kidney laceration and the fact that he is a type 1 diabetic is stopping them from taking care of these matters until (they hope) the kidney can heal. He has had blood transfusions and needed to have an epidural to help with the massive amount of pain. It was determined, today, that he cannot have an epidural due to fractures in his vertebrates.

Tyler is not going to be able to work for a very very long which will put him into a hardship while trying to climb these mountains.

As a family we are asking if you can please help by donating, even if it's only $5.00. If you would consider helping him with medical issues, and medical supplies he will need going forward it would be appreciated.

Tyler's purpose in this world is being tested right now but he's a strong and positive young man. We know he has many mountains to climb now, however, your support is appreciated. He will get thru due to his determination and his strength.
