Financial Support Fund for Me and My Family While I Heal.

If you're reading this I appreciate you for being here. I imagine you might already know me but to give a little back story for my fundraiser. On March 27th I went to Northern, IL for a 10-day Vipassana retreat, this retreat is a retreat dedicated to meditation and personal reflection, it is free of charge and is supported through community and volunteer work, I am grateful for the experience of Vipassana and met a lot of wonderful people on my Journey. The retreat itself was a life changing experience.

My return was planned on the Sunday, April 7th I got in a car accident on the interstate, I glanced down at my phone for a moment to make sure I was headed in the right direction and rear ended the vehicle in front of me, luckily the other people were not injured. The impact totaled my car (which was insured by liability) and I have a fractured right ankle which keeps me from working either of my jobs until I heal. (massage therapy & I am also a teachers aid for pre-k age children) Plus my full time job and life as a single mother. As this is so fresh, I imagine I will be out of work for at least 4-6 weeks and am hoping to gain some financial support for me and my family during this time.

I will be paying this forward through acts of service once I am up and mobile again.
