FILM SHOOT Final Truth: Action Chase & Fight (May 2025)
Donation protected
Hi there, this is Chichester FilmMakers C.I.C. We are a non-profit organisation, launched in 2023 to support and help develop local film makers and screen actors with gaining valuable film industry experience, grow their networks and progress their careers or achieve their aspirations. We work very closely with the local community and local charities across West Sussex and Chichester, and work with film industry professionals from across South of England to develop film productions and provide a route for distribution and exposure.
We also host quarterly events in Spring, Summer, Autumn and culminating with our Annual Event each January. These provide a platform for:
- Networking with other aspiring and professional filmmakers
- Opportunities for our audience to listen and learn from industry guest speakers (such as Howard Ford (Netflix & Amazon Film Director), Adam Ethan Crow (award winning Hollywood Film Director), Mark Adams (Film Festivals Consultant), Stephen Baysted (Film Score & Games Composer, and Professor of Music), Gavin Saville (Ravensbourne University), Grace Couzins (Paramount Pictures UK, Editorial Team)
- Handpicked screenings of locally produced short films, such as Papercut (Issie Collier), The Barn (featuring Kate Winslet), and locally produced trailers
- A chance to meet Sussex Film Office and many other local film production houses, services and studios from across Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey and Berkshire
To date we have assisted & worked with more than 60 film makers and screen actors from across West Sussex, Dorset and Hampshire to step closer to their dream of progressing their careers or education, or stepping in to the film industry. These include X who has since decided to attend Chichester College's Film Production BTEC course, X who was at a crossroads but has now decided to put all her effort in progressing her career in the film industry as a progressive and inspiring Runner, X who as an experienced and successful music videographer wanted to move in to narrative film projects, X who wanted to find a way to gain more acting and film making experience before going to University to study Film Production, and X who after being made redundant needed a way to distract himself from the everyday job search and progress in to acting and stage craft which has helped him find new friends, make new contacts, and develop a whole new career path.
FILM SHOOT
We are filming an action packed chase scene in the center of Chichester on 21st/ 22nd / 23rd May 2025
This forms a part of a much larger production, for the feature film, FINAL TRUTH, which will be filmed and produced in and around Chichester during 2026. However, in order to raise the £200,000 needed to produce the feature film, we are now going ahead with the filming of the film's Action chase & combat scene, and will also be filming an excerpt of the Ancient Egyptian scene later this year. These are to be presented to potential donors, investors and public funding sources in order to raise the budget needed to film and produce the rest of the feature film.
And so this GoFundMe campaign is crucial to ensuring we are able to pay expenses for cast & crew, essential kit hire, insurance and costs of licensing (ie. the process of gaining approval from Sussex Film Office, the many councils, police and other blue light services, and permission to use the air space above Chichester).
Please help us achieve our funding goal and thus provide the ability to shoot this wonderful scene from Final Truth, and so provide opportunities to many aspiring film makers, students and pupils with an opportunity to come and get involved, gain valuable experience and help them achieve their dreams.
There is much more information about this production on our website, at www.ChiFilm.studio/final-truth
Thank you!!
PS: If you would like to get involved with this project or the production of Final Truth as cast or crew, or indeed any other capcity, then please contact us at the email listed, or, via our website (www.ChiFilm.studio)
