Fill the Plates, Fill the Hearts: Ending Hunger in North TX

Hello! We are four students form the University of North Texas studying social entrepreneurship, and we are thrilled to announce our campaign to raise money for North Texas Food Bank!

A little bit about our Campaign:

In North Texas, 1 in 7 individuals faces food insecurity, impacting 777,690 people, including

nearly 40% children. Denton County alone has 114,180 food-insecure individuals, over 34,000

of whom are children (Source: ntfb.org). Hunger is a growing crisis in our community, and we

need your help to make a tangible difference.

Our Goal:

We are raising $500 to provide 2,000 nutritious meals to families struggling with hunger in North Texas. Your donation will directly fund food distribution programs that support families, seniors, and children in need.

Impact of Your Donation:

• $500: Provides 2,000 meals to local families.

• $1,000: Supplies 4,000 meals, ensuring children and seniors receive essential nutrition.

• $2,500: Delivers 10,000 meals, strengthening food security efforts in our community.
