Lindsay and his family has been giving back to the Fijian community for the last two years. After two successful trips to Korolevu, Fiji, Fijian Fixin has already provided over two tonnes of essential equipment and hundreds of man hours of community building support to the people of Fiji.
We need your help to do more.
Tourists get to enjoy the pristine waters and resorts and marvel at the beauty of the traditional Fijian lifestyle but the untold side of Fijian life is a story of hardship and struggle against poverty. With your help Lindsay wants to provide the Fijian community with modern techniques to augment their traditional lifestyle daily routine. To take a little of the struggle out of traditional living to improve the living conditions for their children.
Fijian Fixin is working to build a community run workshop in conjunction with St Peter Chanel Primary School in Korolevu to provide free access to tools, equipment & technological knowledge for local use & development.
Fijian Fixin was created by inventor Lindsay Flack, a vehicle mechanic in the army for the better half of a decade & chief engineer on charter yachts. More recently Lindsay was a brand ambassador for the XXXX Gold Spanner & Thongs Academy, a place to explore new ideas and help create awesome Aussie inventions.
Lindsay is a self-professed ‘lazy guy’ who likes to build machines to do the work for him! This has led to the creation of the coconut dehusking machine, milling attachment for chainsaw & pneumatic over hydraulic coconut oil extractor just to name a few. Inventions like these have saved the Fijian people dozens of man hours of hard labour per week and given them more time for them to improve their quality of life. Time to build better schools, time for their children to go to school, time to live a better life.
ALL donations will be used for the people of Fiji. Your money will go towards :
- Procurement of community building tools
- Agricultural equipment
- Workshop consumables eg. grinding discs, welding wire, sandpaper etc.
- Freight and logistic costs
- Sporting equipment and clothing for local schools
- Household goods and clothing
