I never imagined I’d be in this position—having to ask for help—but right now I feel like I have no other choice.

Recently, a family court decision was made regarding the arrangements for my children, and it has left me devastated. I believe this decision does not truly reflect what is best for my children’s wellbeing, stability, or happiness. Every parent wants nothing more than to protect and nurture their children, and I feel that I need to do everything in my power to make sure they are safe, secure, and able to grow up in a loving environment.

Appealing a family court decision is not easy, and unfortunately it is incredibly expensive. Legal fees, court costs, and the process itself are overwhelming, and as a single parent already trying to manage day-to-day living costs, I simply cannot afford it alone.
