Additionally, I serve my community with honor, helping to find the remains of fallen service members from past conflicts. My job has always brought me pride, but as I face this painful divorce, I find myself in an unprecedented struggle.

The Timeline:

August - September 2024: Without warning, my wife began transferring money from our accounts. I was oblivious, focused on my family and responsibilities.

It breaks my heart to see the reality of how my children’s mother has taken all of our family funds and wiped out their educational savings for her own gain. This betrayal goes beyond financial loss; it has spiraled into a painful cycle of abusive litigation, where she uses our children as tools to provoke me further. The emotional and physical toll of this situation is devastating, and I can’t help but feel a deep sense of sadness for my kids, who are caught in the middle of this turmoil. Her actions are affecting their mental and emotional well-being in ways I fear they may not fully understand yet. At the end of the day, it’s clear that she is unaware or indifferent to the fact that her choices are causing our children immeasurable pain, and it’s their innocence that suffers the most in this struggle.

October 2024: The storm hit. My wife filed for divorce and sought a temporary restraining order (TRO) with false allegation's, including my children and pets. I was served and forcibly removed from my home, not seeing my children for 15 long, heart-wrenching days. During this separation, my wife manipulated our children into believing I was an abuser, leaving them confused and scared. Importantly, there were no findings of abuse in the initial TRO, highlighting the baseless nature of her allegations.

November 2024: In our first court hearing, the children were removed from the TRO, but my wife delayed her case, keeping her TRO in effect. The legal battles escalated, and I found myself facing abusive litigation, leading to severe financial strain. She continued using our children as leverage, emotionally manipulating them to provoke me. I refused to give in.

December 2024: My wife filed numerous false accusations, resulting in my mandatory enrollment in anger management and parenting classes. Meanwhile, she faced no repercussions. I felt helpless, fearing that I was losing my children to a web of lies. My wife's actions escalated, pulling in my older son's mother, which caused my son to stop communicating with me.

January - March 2025: These months were excruciating. Finally, I obtained a TRO for my children, but this prompted further lies from my wife, who filed another TRO against me with claims that had previously been denied.

April 2025: The TRO regarding my children prohibited my wife from accessing our marital home. However, once that expired, she accused me of breaking into her house, stealing toys, and damaging property. She filed yet another TRO with old and new unfounded allegations, fueled by her paranoia. I find myself in a legal labyrinth without the funds to secure proper representation.

Right now, I have my children with me for one more week, and they are terrified of what may happen if the court grants my wife's claims. Their fear of losing me as their father weighs heavily on my heart. I am the sole petitioner on the current TRO to avoid further conflict, but it feels like nothing is working.
