Fighting Finn
We invite you to join along with us in this beautiful journey of watching Finn James beat all the odds!
Let me introduce you to his parents, Chris and Jessica Hill. They fell in
love at a very young age, married, and have battled infertility for 9 long emotional years. They exhausted all foreseeable efforts of having a
child and then discovered the beautiful possibility of adopting an embryo. They adopted an embryo from an amazing family who had also walked a hard, but beautiful journey to childbearing and knew the importance of offering others a chance at growing their family.
Chris and Jess transferred 2 embryos on December 19th, 2018 and found out New Years Eve she was pregnant for the first time ever!! At their first ultrasound they learned there were TWO sweet little babies with strong heart beats! Unfortunately they found out they had lost baby B around 9 weeks gestation. As you can imagine, this was extremely difficult for them to walk through.
As the pregnancy progressed Jessica dealt with a large clot that caused many large bleeds (and lots of concern) and she was put on bed
rest.
On May 21st Jessica's water broke at her doctor's appointment. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where shortly after they discovered the placenta was detaching and she needed an emergency
c-section before Finn went into distress.
Finn James Hill was born at 24 weeks, and 4 days, at 7:36pm weighing only 1 lb and 2 oz.
He has been Fighting Finn ever since.
Finn has already shown great purpose in his little bitty life and is showing many of us miracles do happen. He is teaching many how to pray with great faith again!
Now we ask you to come alongside Chris, Jess, and Finn to help provide some financial support as they continue to fight this fight.
They will have many on-going medical expenses. Jessica did have to return to work last week to keep her insurance intact. Chris will remain with Finn, which means driving back and forth to Nemours in Orlando, FL. When Finn is released from the NICU (they hope and pray this happens by his due date, Sept 6th) he won't be able to go to daycare due to concerns about his immune system. This will cause some long term financial strain.
This allows US the opportunity to JUMP IN and help fund Fighting Finn!
First and foremost, thank you so much for your heart and your prayers for Finn. Thank you for sharing HIS beautiful story of LIFE. Thank you for your financial support and for jumping in to be a part of this story that is changing so many of us!
