For the past 2 years, I've been going through some very tough financial times. Until recently, and only for a brief period, I had 3 part-time jobs. However, my side hustle is basically the only thing I have now. As I continue to navigate through a difficult job-hunting process, I have found myself at the end of my rope. Time has finally run out, and I need help ASAP.

I have fallen very behind in the rent, and as such, my landlord has clearly spoken. If I don't provide at least 1 1/2 months' rent by 8/10, he will officially start the eviction process. Moving or being homeless is NOT an option.

I am a single person with a very soon-to-be 10-year-old cat. There are no immediate family members to speak of, and any type of savings, loans, and even the stray coins hidden underneath the couch cushions have long since been depleted. I don't qualify for government assistance, and to add insult to injury, my 15-year-old car's transmission is giving out as we speak.

My primary goal is to buy some time so I can remain in my apartment, and then ultimately try to lower some of the back rent as well.
