On February 10th, Montour County Commissioners unanimously voted to oppose Talen Energy's petition that was asking to re-zone nearly 870 acres of land to industrial use. Talen eventually admitted at public meetings that this was to work with Amazon to develop a data center campus in the Montour Preserve Region.
