Fight Hunger, Cut Waste: Support Move For Hunger
Tax deductible
Imagine you are moving from one house to another and find yourself with excess food that you plan to throw away. Then you see a homeless family on the street who most definitely needs it. Would you still throw away the food? Too much food is being wasted during the relocation process, even though it is still completely good enough to eat. Move For Hunger, a non-profit organization, aims to minimize food waste during relocation by giving movers and residents the opportunity to donate their surplus food, which will be brought to local food banks, and ultimately, to the people in need. Together, we can provide access to adequate, nutritious food for people in need while also reducing food waste.
While hunger affects many people, certain groups are particularly vulnerable. Senior citizens are the fastest-growing food-insecure population in the United States. According to Move For Hunger(2024), one in four U.S. veterans experiences hunger on a daily basis.
We are raising $1,000 to help Move For Hunger expand its food recovery program. Your donation will help cover the cost of food transportation, ensuring that the food gets to the people who need it most. Every dollar you contribute helps Mover For Hunger reach more communities, collect more food, and have a greater impact on ending hunger and reducing food waste.
No family should have to go hungry while so much food is wasted. Your support can help provide meals to underserved families. Let’s work together to make sure that no one goes without food. Donate today and join Move For Hunger in the fight against hunger and food waste. Share this campaign to help us reach even more people.
Let’s work together for a future with zero food waste.
