Fight homophobia in all it's forms
Donation protected
The Gay Men’s Network is a not-for-profit, grassroots association dedicated to fighting all forms of homophobia. We work on policy and produce high-quality responses to public consultations highlighting homophobia and the effects of gender ideology on gay youth and gay men. In particular, our 2022 response to the government consultation on banning “ conversion therapy” was described by the former head of legislative affairs at No. 10, (now an advisor to the equalities secretary), Nikki Da Costa as a model response.
Since then we have addressed several other policy areas:
1) We responded to the CPS sex by deception consultation highlighting the concerns of homosexual men around this area,
2) We’ve responded to the NHS England Interim Service Specifications for gender medicine consultation
3) We’ve written to key public figures across many sectors to fight the corner for homosexual men.
Our board of directors and supporters have advocated for gay men on television and on-line. We also contribute to the ongoing day-to-day debates in LGB culture on behalf of homosexual men.
What we do takes time and money.
We are lucky to have a motivated and energetic core team who put in their time and own money to make things work but we always need extra funds to assist with our campaigns. 100% of all funds we raise goes towards running costs, promotional materials and the production of campaign tools to help get our message across.
We are tremendously grateful for all and any donations we get. We are not in receipt of government funds. We do not run workplace schemes. We rely entirely on ordinary, everyday people putting small sums aside to help us. So, it doesn’t matter if it’s a small or a large sum, if you can spare anything to help us achieve passionate, first class and respected advocacy for homosexual men, we would be tremendously grateful.
