Hi everyone my name is Shalane. My sister Jessica and I are reaching out for our mom Lori Langstaff which a lot of you know as Nana, La La or Big Mama. She’s been undergoing cancer treatment since October 2023. She was diagnosed with small cell stage three lung cancer. She’s undergoing 3 rounds of chemo treatments and 33 rounds of radiation. During Christmas she was admitted into Mark Twain hospital with sepsis that caused her to be admitted into the ICU for two weeks following that there was many other things along the way that have happened. Recently she had another accident and she ended up in the hospital with sepsis again that caused her knee replacement of seven years ago to get infected so they had to do open knee surgery to remove the bad hardware and clean it out. She’s currently using wheelchair sometimes a walker. She’s trying to gather the strength to keep pushing thru. She’s gone thru so much and the last thing my sister Jessica and I want for my mom is to stress about expenses for things that aren’t covered by insurance! The money that will be donated will be used for essential things that she needs through day-to-day, and also towards bills that need to be paid that aren’t covered. Anything you can help with means more than you know to us and my mom! Thank you for your love and support thru the hard times for my family and especially my mom. Prayers are always needed to keep her strong and pushing forward to get better.
