Fight for Butterfly

My name is Ashley, I'm a single mom on disability of a beautiful, smart and sassy 5yr old daughter (Butterfly). I have been caring and providing for my daughter all on my own for the past 4yrs since her father decided to split just before she turned 1. She's up to date on all her shots and never misses a well check from doctors, WIC or dentist. She's in school and I work with her at home every day with flashcards and workbooks I buy to invest in her early education in which she has already began to read. She never misses a meal, has her own bedroom, toys and bathed regularly. She is well socialized and participates in many after school and extra curricular activities like ballet and tap. This is her life, her home, her family and he has never been part of it despite my efforts to include him. I have never denied him visitation or communication with her yet he's chosen this. He has only seen her twice in the past 3yrs and infrequent phone calls even though I have tried setting up scheduled times for them to talk. He even has an older daughter in New York he never sees or talks to. So now he's decided out of nowhere to file for custody....my daughter barely knows him, is uncomfortable around him alone so he's never been alone with her for more then a few minutes. So I need your help to fight for my sweet Butterfly, to keep her safe, comfortable and with the only family she's ever known. He thinks he can bully me and control this situation claiming false accusations of me being unfit, using my disability and lowincome against me because his new wife has money and is paying for all of this for him. After exhausting all my free advice and legal aid options I've created this gofundme to ask for family and friend's help to raise money for a lawyer. I have found one, Mr William Poole, who is willing to work with me on payment plans for the hourly rate but I need the retainer fee to hire him and get all of this started.
