My dad Jorge Granillo has been in prison 28 years in the California prison system and he is serving a 200 year prison sentence due to the three-strike laws. Even though

his offenses were non violent in cases like my dads after the new three strike laws He was not given the proper legal representation to fight for a fair resentencing and the attorney assigned to his case was unable to advocate for him effectively and didn’t provide the representation he deserved.
