I'm raising funds for a dear friend, a courageous mother navigating the aftermath of family violence. Since separating from her ex-partner, she has faced stalking, harassment, intimidation, and distressing custody issues. There have been repeated incidents where her child was withheld by father, plus his attempts to take her child, forcing her to install security cameras at home.

Now, she’s caught in a costly legal battle in the family court system. Despite the emotional toll and financial strain, she’s fighting to protect her child and secure a safer future. Her child has shared experiences of neglect and mistreatment which has left a worrying toll and deepens the urgency of this case.

She has not received child support to date and is shouldering the mounting legal fees alone while providing for her child. The process is retraumatizing, and the financial burden is overwhelming, but she continues to fight with grace and resilience.
