Fiestas Patrias 2025 - Chile's Independence Day Festival

Somos el CCDV Comité Chileno del Delaware Valley, un grupo de chilenos que organizamos un festival anual para celebrar las fiestas patrias de Chile en Estados Unidos. Estamos ubicados en el punto en que se unen los estados de Delaware, New Jersey y Pennsylvania.

Nuestro grupo es pequeño, no estamos constituidos jurídicamente, pero desde hace mas de 10 anos trabajamos fuertemente, de manera completamente voluntaria para hacer del festival chileno un día inolvidable para todos. Debido al incremento del valor de la renta del espacio en el parque (y de los servicios que este presta) nos vemos en la necesidad de acudir a ustedes para poder financiar los gastos de la producción del festival de 2025. En años anteriores cubrimos los costos con el dinero del año anterior y nuestros aportes personales… pero para este Septiembre se nos hará muy difícil llegar a la meta.

Con lo que nos quedo de la fiesta del ano 2023 (no hicimos festival el 2024), $1200 hemos cubierto la reserva del parque, pero aun necesitamos cubrir la el resto de la renta - un total de $2600 -, la renta del inflable, amplificación, seguros, elementos de limpieza y regalos para los concursos.

Quisiéramos seguir con la tradición, el poder tener un día en donde nos podamos sentir chilenos, comer nuestra comida, escuchar nuestras canciones, ver a antiguos y nuevos amigos, mostrar a nuestros hijos y nietos lo lindo que son las tradiciones de Chile.

We are the CCDV – Chilean Committee of the Delaware Valley, a group of Chileans who, for over 10 years, have organized an annual festival to celebrate Chile’s National Holidays here in the United States. Our community is located where the states of Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania meet.

We are a small, informal group—not a legally registered organization—but we are deeply committed and work entirely on a volunteer basis to make this event a special and unforgettable day for everyone who attends.

This year, due to rising costs for the park rental and related services, we are reaching out to ask for your support in funding the 2025 Chilean Festival. In past years, we were able to cover expenses with leftover funds from previous festivals and our own personal contributions. However, this coming September, it will be very difficult to reach our goal without your help.

We used the $1,200 we had left from the 2023 event (we did not hold the festival in 2024) to reserve the park. However, we still need to raise the remaining $2,600 to cover the full rental, plus costs for inflatables, sound equipment, insurance, cleaning supplies, and contest prizes.

We want to continue this beautiful tradition—a day where we can feel connected to our Chilean roots, enjoy our traditional food and music, reunite with old friends, meet new ones, and share our culture with our children and grandchildren.
