AVA LYNN IS FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE, HELP HER FILL HER BUCKET LIST
Hello all, my name is Leslie from Salem, Oregon and I’m reaching out to all of you on behalf of my friend Kimberly Hosmer.
Let’s just put it out there, this isn’t great news. It’s not what anyone wants to imagine a child going through. After several months of chemo and a knee replacement to remove a tumor found in her knee Ava was finally in remission! She worked hard in rehab and felt like a 14 year-old young lady should: healthy and strong. When it came time for her one-year scans the doctors found cancer in her lung. Upon further testing, a cancerous tumor was also found on her spine. There are treatments to prolong her life but no cures. Fierce Ava Lynn is a teenager with a beautiful soul… she is artistic, spunky and strong. Ava is a daughter, a big sister, a friend; she is so much and is so loved. She is and has been a FIERCE FIGHTER through and through.
Though her options are limited and the cancer is terminal, she is still on her journey. That journey brought her to a place where our beautiful-hearted fighter could use support toward a collection of experiences to help push her through this battle and spend some happy days filling her bucket list, enjoying time with the ones she loves.
