Fidelity House Patio

My name is Ethan, I am a life scout working towards my eagle rank. One of the requirements to make eagle is to do a project for the community and I have chosen to do a patio for a Fidelity house in Andover, MA.  Fidelity house gives a home and assistance to adults who need those services. The people who live at this house are wheelchair bound and have no space outside to enjoy. For my project, I will be building a wheelchair accessible walkway, a 16'x16' patio, and 2 flower boxes made from Trex. The walkway will be 3'x8' and will need to be dug down to approximately 12", leveled, than layered with base stone dust and paver stone. It will be finished off with nylon edging that will help to hold the pavers in place. The walkway will lead to a 16'x16' patio that will be built in the same manner. When the patio is finished I will build two 2'x8'x16" flower boxes that will be placed on the street side of the patio. To finish it off it will be filled of with soil and flowers.
