Last year I helped raise money for the Somerset Centre in Brighton, a truly special place where the elderly come together, feel cared for, and always leave with a smile. This year, the Centre is going one step further — taking the elderly to enjoy a warm and joyful Christmas dinner at the Saltdean Carvery.

For many of them, Christmas can be one of the loneliest times of the year. Some don’t have family close by, some spend it on their own, and for others, it’s simply another day without much to look forward to. I want to change that!! I want every one of them to feel the magic of Christmas, to enjoy a proper festive dinner, and most of all — to feel loved and remembered.

Times are hard for all of us right now, and I know money doesn’t stretch as far as it used to. That’s why I’m not asking for much — just whatever you can spare. Because when we pull together as a community, even the smallest donations add up to something truly incredible.

I can promise you this: every penny will go towards bringing joy, comfort, and smiles to the faces of our elders this Christmas. And there’s no better gift than that.
